Experienced in location sound mixing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a location sound mixer I have been in the field for 15 years. I have hard won experience on documentaries, natural history, reality TV, commercials, IMAX and union TV \/ Features. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A member of IATSE 891 Sound as well as a owner operator for non union work where I own and operate both Sound Devices and Zaxcom mixers and use Zaxcom wireless and Lectrosonic transmitters. I own enough equipment to carry 14 talent and to fulfill obligations for large commercials, reality TV and running a sound team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remote locations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I specialize in extreme and remote locations with a high degree of ability as a ropes rigger and arbourist. I can operate snow mobiles and am proficient at difficult heli exits and have Helicopter Rope Suspension Training (HRST). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proficient skier, snowboarder, rock climber, mountaineer, kayaker, surfer, mountain biker and free diver. For 15 years (before my film career) I was a professional rock climber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passion for sound<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My passion is documentary film, especially films that make the world a better place for us humans and the natural world. Since this kind of work requires being in the field in remote locations I will consider wearing more hats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hats, not just a sound guy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I regularly double as second camera, stills, 1st AD and have extensive experience with GoPros, Drones, Cable Cams, Remote Heads, Dollys, dual operating and for adventure film specifically – Directing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where location means more than Home<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My home is Squamish, BC Canada and am available for Vancouver, Whistler and Pemberton without additional cost. I love to travel the world and have Carnet ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
